Nintendo's Wii will be cheaper and available sooner than Sony's PS3Nintendo is out to change the way everyone views video games. Not only is it introducing a new way to control the games, but it also is planning on keeping the price reasonable. If that was not enough, the Wii might be available 2 months before the New Year. According to CnnMoney.com's Chris Morris, Nintendo appears to already be manufacturing final retail units as noted by analyst P.J. McNealy of American Technology Research.
Microsoft only took 69 days after the first Xbox 360 was manufactured to launch the the infamous Xbox Circle. Nintendo has stated it plans on selling 6 million Wii consoles by March 2007. So if we look 69 days into the future September is well within sight. October should be a breeze. We put up an article today that referenced Sports Illustrated for Kids printing that the release date would be November 6th. It looks like that date will be blown out of the water. With promises of games less than 60 big ones and the paradigm shift in video game controllers, this is going to be an exciting time for video game players new and old.
