What is the Wii hiding? A mysterious picture of the Wii's front cover slot opened has been leaked onto the web. Apparently the picture is the front cover of an E3 CD sent out to some companies by Nintendo themselves. The CD supposedly has some more info about the Wii and its features.
Although the image is not very clear, one can noticeably see a small indenture in the middle. That is most probably the SD slot which has already been confirmed but if you look closer right above that slot, there is a small round object. Now, there have been many rumors about a built-in camera floating around and that might very well be the case but at this point it could be anything Expect a big surprise, afterall it is Nintendo we're talking about here. Source: www.nintendogossip.com Added 6-15-2006 The rumors keep on coming, here is the latest - "A rumor mentioned has to do with the flap in the front of the Wii. According to the information provided the flap rises to reveal a camera which will assist the sensor bar in some games and will allow users to record/stream video. When needed, in-game, the flap will rise automatically while users will also be able to access the camera through a Wii menu. " Check out other rumors in the forum . |
