Wii Fan's Carbon Date infamous release

With the posting of Need for Speed: Cardon Wii release date on their website (November 3rd), many people felt EA had let the cat out of the bag on when the Wii from Nintendo would be released.

"The date was put there by mistake and it is now listed as 4th Qtr 06. We will make an announcement shortly and with the US already confirming their date we expect to be around the same time but it's still TBC," an EA representative told eurogamer.com.

"Naturally it goes without saying the Wii release date was also an error and not an insight into the console's launch," he added, having clearly noticed what we were really interested in.

So, we must continue to speculate, guess and swag as to when our prize Wii makes it to the our local gaming store.  Nintendo has promised to let us know the exact date in September, but us true Nintendo fans want to know now.
